Taqwa Ministries was established by Charles "Ahmad" Mosley and Quillon "Rasheed" Brown in 2020. Mr. Mosley and Mr. Brown are familiar with hardship as both men have been in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice correctional system in their early adult years. Both men successfully re-entered society and are successful entrepreneurs, overcoming the recidivism rates that defeat many. Mr.Mosley has operated a successful business with offices in Euless, Texas for ten years. Both men joined forces during the Covid-19 pandemic to help alleviate the overwhelming challenges faced by their fellow Americans in need, by personally embarking on food assistance initiatives for the elderly and the youth population. Mr. Mosley and Mr. Brown have now teamed with Mr. Leon "Ismail" Jefferson, a fellow entrepreneur, at the Masjid al-Islam in South Dallas to further delve into assisting former offenders with a strong reentry program.
About Us
OUR MISSION
Taqwa Ministries has both the focus and the heart for helping the communities in which it operates or has the ability to reach. Through programs that range from helping the youth with back-to-school supplies, the elderly with food assistance initiatives, to helping former offenders with reentry into society through job placement and living assistance. Taqwa Ministries established a mentor program which enters the Texas Department of Criminal Justice correctional system to speak and counsel individuals that will soon reenter society, so that they may have the mindset and life skills to propel them toward a future of success.
Taqwa Ministries has the goal to provide all the individuals that we assist with the opportunity to practice cognitive thinking skills, with a focus on sound morals, principles, and values in order to break unhealthy habits; allowing for the opportunity for individual growth.

Quillon Brown (Above & Beyond)
Quillon Akmon Brown AKA Rashas Abdul Haqq. I’m no bigger than the smallest person on earth. I came from a background that was exposed to controlled substances, alcohol, marijuana, etc. However, I was also exposed to the best of life as a kid for a while with love, support, and backing. I was an athlete with offers of opportunities in 2 sports: Basketball and football but failed to follow up and complete the pursuit in the opportunities before me. With this said, I found myself caught up in the madness of the streets. Poor choices - Poor Decisions!
