F.I.S.T (Fighting for Inner-City Struggling Teens) F.I.S.T is one of the programs which is included under the ministry of Taqwa Ministries, providing school supplies and school clothes throughout the entire school year, as well as providing after school meals and summer meals. F.I.S.T also offers mentorship for students.
F.I.S.T was established in 2003 while Mr. Charles Mosley was incarcerated in The Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Upon release in 2006 Mr. Charles Mosley partnered with Vision Regeneration and its founders Mr. Omar Jahwar and Antong Lucky to work with the Texas Juvenile Justice System in regards to gang prevention and intervention in the school system. The program offered mentoring, counseling, and school supplies for the youth.
